Young Women and Debate: How Debate Programs Encourage Engaged Education, Critical Thinking and Civil Discourse

WGC partners with friends at YWLA for a night of mentoring young female high school students towards a new debate program within SAISD, where debate has not traditionally enjoyed widespread popularity. The UTSA debate team will be present and so will Councilwoman Ana Sandoval, who will lead a mentoring session. Fundraiser for the burgeoning debate program.
