WGC immersion trips are designed to promote understanding of different cultures and provide education as a means of promoting women’s leadership and community development. Volunteers prepare six months in advance and participate in a fourteen to sixteen day trip that includes workshops for some of the following: business women and women’s organizations, teachers, health workers, caregivers, and students.

Participants actively contribute to WGC’s mission, utilizing their expertise to improve the lives of women and their families.

WGC Immersion Trips have two goals: to promote understanding of different cultures aimed at building respectful collaborative relationships across the globe; and to provide education for women around the world as a means of promoting women’s leadership and community development. Application click here > WGC Immersion trip application and WGC Covenant Immersion Trip If you are committed to traveling with us bring these two documents completed to the WGC office, in the basement of the Brackenridge Villa.
