What does it mean to be a global citizen? Teams of school-age girls lead us in a free, fun, half-day program to explore that question. More than 250 girls from local middle and high schools are expected to attend. This event expands horizons and encourages empathy by focusing on issues facing girls and women around the globe. All are invited – whether you’re a community leader, mom, teacher, or a girl getting a sense of the larger world! Thanks to our WGC Girls Leadership high school student interns, who help design and lead the program. Community service hours available!
