Today, we want to share with you that the Women’s Global Connection ministry has begun a transitional stage.
Over the years, this ministry has touched many lives in meaningful ways and the seed planted will continue to bear fruit for a long time, as part of its legacy. After much discussion and prayer, we arrived at the bold decision to bring WGC to completion. This difficult decision carne from listening and discerning the suggestions of different boards, which understand that the prograrns the WGC sponsors have the potential to find a home in other ministries.
We believe this seed was the heart of Sr. Dorothy Ettling and Sr. Neomi Hayes’ vision for the ministry. They trusted that forming women and supporting women would create a network of influence for transformation, and that was what has been done.
Our Congregation is deeply grateful to each of you for your dedication and commitment over the years. Through WGC, you have touched many lives locally and globally. We hope that you will continue to collaborate with us as sorne of the WGC programs will find a home in other Incarnate Word Ministries. The mission is being transformed.
We hold you and all WGC teams along all these years in prayer as this transition begins; we realize it will be a time of grace and sadness both. Please know that you will always be part of our lncarnate Word family.
